This historical dish entered the the traditional Greek kouzina from the city of Smyrni in the 20th Century. Spices from Asia Minor influenced Greek cuisine bringing together a wonderful fusion of recipes and flavours.
Hand painted and designed by Mary Politis, Soutzoukakia sto fourno is one of her most remade recipes. Fragrant with spices such as cumin and cinnamon baked in a rich tomato sauce, it’s guaranteed to be a family favourite and a wonderful way to collect and gift delicious Greek recipes.
Care instructions: 100% cotton. Initial hand wash in cold water. Do not bleach or tumble dry. Warm wash and iron on reverse.
