Inspired by a popular vintage design that you may recognise framed on our parents or grandparents’ wall. Keeping the classic Kalímera presentation, I have surrounded it with fruits and herbs that are written in Ancient Greek history and also mentioned in Greek Mythology.
Images such as oregano representing goddess of love, Aphrodite who planted the herb in her garden on Mt. Olympus as a symbol of happiness. Sage, the symbol of fertility, good health, a long life, and wisdom. Cretan Dittany. A medical cure’ plant that grows wild in the mountains and gorges used to heal wounds and ease pain very much Like saffron. Almond tree blossoms, a symbol of love and eternal hope and of course figs, a symbol of prosperity and peace.
Care instructions: 100% linen. Warm wash and iron on reverse.
