A beginning, from my heart to yours
If you’re here, thank you. Whether you found me through my cooking, my videos, or stumbled here by beautiful accident—welcome. This space is something I’ve been wanting to do for a long time. A quiet little corner of the internet where I can write, share, and reflect on the things that bring me joy: food, family, tradition, and the small but meaningful moments in between.
So, why Made with Meraki?
In Greek, “Meraki” (μεράκι) is one of those untranslatable words—rich in emotion and meaning. It’s the kind of word that doesn’t just describe what you do, but how you do it. It means to do something with soul, creativity, and love. To pour a piece of yourself into whatever it is you’re doing—whether it’s making a meal, writing a story, planting a garden, or setting the table for family.
But for me, Meraki isn’t just a beautiful word—it’s also me.
It’s been my nickname since I was little. My parents, my grandparents, and my closest loved ones still call me Meraki to this day. It’s always made me feel seen in the most special way. Because that’s how I’ve always approached life—especially in the kitchen. With heart. With care. With love.
What You’ll Find Here
Made with Meraki will be more than just recipes. It’s a place where I’ll share:
- A peek into my own kitchen—my favourite pots, pans, tools, and tips
- Pantry must-haves and the stories behind the ingredients I love
- Personal stories from my life and travels
- Reflections on heritage, motherhood, food, and the magic in the everyday
- Notes from my table—what I’m cooking, baking, daydreaming about, or can’t stop eating!
I want this blog to feel like a warm kitchen chair—where you can pull up, pour a coffee, and feel at home.
This isn’t about perfection or polish—it’s about presence. About creating with heart, and sharing with honesty. And most of all, it’s about connection.
Thank you for being here at the beginning. I can’t wait to share more with you.
With all my love,
Meraki x
